Schellman’s Ryan Mackie Appointed to ANAB’s Management Systems Accreditation Committee

TAMPA, Fla.—May 8, 2023—Schellman, a leading provider of attestation and compliance services, announced today that Ryan Mackie, a Principal at the firm and its ISO Practice Leader, has been appointed to the ANAB Management Systems Accreditation Committee (MSAC).

The MSAC is responsible for the granting, suspending, and withdrawing of accreditation of certification bodies, as well as preparing ANAB management systems program procedures and criteria. As a newly appointed representative of certification bodies, Mackie joins a distinguished group of industry experts and will work together to ensure that ANAB operates at the highest level of quality and that all accredited certification bodies meet rigorous standards as well.

Ryan Mackie has been with Schellman since 2005 and has over 25 years of experience in this field. Ryan supports the regional Florida market and manages SOC, PCI-DSS, ISO, HIPAA, and Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) STAR Certification and Attestation service delivery. He also oversees the firm-wide methodology and execution for the ISO certification services, including ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, and ISO 22301 as well as CSA STAR certification services. Ryan also is an active member of the CSA and co-chairs the Open Control Framework committee which is responsible for the CSA STAR Program methodology and execution.
