This site (together with any successor site(s), computer systems, cloud-based storage accounts, and associated social media websites, hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Website") is operated by Schellman Compliance, LLC ("we," "us," or "Schellman").

We are concerned about privacy issues and want you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose information, so that you can make educated and informed decisions. This Privacy Policy describes our practices in connection with information that we collect through our Website. Please note that the Privacy Policy applies only to our online information-gathering and dissemination practices in connection with the Website and does not apply to any of our practices conducted offline.

Your use of any of the Website is conditioned on your agreement with all the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. The Terms of Use, as amended from time to time, and this Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between us and you with respect to your use of this Website. Do not use the Website if you disagree with any part of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is written in the English language. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any translated versions of this Privacy Policy. To the extent any translated versions of this Privacy Policy conflict with the English language version, the English language version of this Privacy Policy shall control. If you have any questions or comments about the Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at privacy@schellman.

Types of Information

When using this Website, there are two types of information we may collect from you: Personal Information and Other Information.  “Personal Information” is any information that can be used to personally identify you, and may include your name, email address, work telephone or fax numbers, your job title, and your company’s name and address.

“Other Information” is any information that does not reveal your specific identity or does not directly relate to an individual, such as browser and device information, usage data, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, pixel tags and other technologies, demographic information and other information provided by you, aggregated or anonymized information, or information collected through cookies which may be used to send information to us or our third-party service providers. For more information on our cookies policy, please see the “Cookies” section below.

You are solely responsible for the privacy and security of any information that does not constitute Personal Information or Other Information which you may upload onto this Website.

Collection of Information

While using this Website, we may collect both Personal Information and Other Information. Demographic information, such as gender and occupation, is not actively sought, but may be requested when submitting a job application or resume through this Website. Registration is not required to use this Website but may be necessary to contact us.

It is our policy to limit the information collected to only the minimum information required to complete your request. We will never seek to obtain sensitive information unless legally required to do so, and we ask that you do not send us Personal Information such as Social Security numbers, credit card or other payment card information, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, criminal background or trade union membership. Our Services offered on this Website are not intended for children under the age of thirteen (13), and we request that such individuals do not provide us with Personal Information.

You may choose to provide Personal Information in the following examples:

  • Through subscription to our blog.
  • By joining our mailing list.
  • By contacting us for further information.
  • By registration for events, webinars, and conferences.
  • By submitting resumes or work history.

Other Information that may be collected, such as standard internet log information and usage information, includes your IP address, browser type and language, access times, location, usage data, and referring website addresses. We may use Online Identification Technologies, such as those listed above in “Types of Information,” to store registration information in an area of the Website so that you do not need to enter it on subsequent visits to make navigation of this Website easier for you and to facilitate efficient registration processes. Currently, this Website does not respond to a "Do Not Track" or similar signal. "Do Not Track" is a preference you can set to let the websites you visit know that you do not want them collecting information about you.
