Angela Polania

Angela is very blessed to have over twenty years of professional services experience with hundreds of organizations in the areas of:

  • Information Security, IT Audit and IT Compliance
  • Privacy (GDPR, US, Asia, Canada)
  • Business Process Auditing and Consulting
  • Most recently AI Governance and AI Risk Management

Angela has a Post Graduate Degree from University of Texas-Austin in Advanced Machine Learning, Data Science and GenAI.

Over the past year Angela has been working with Technology organizations and large enterprises with ISO 42001 , NIST AI RMF and establishing AI governance and AI risk management programs in the Education, Financial Services, Technology and Legal industries.

In the past, Angela worked extensively with many industries including Financial Services, Healthcare, Legal, Consumer Products, Technology B2B SAAS, Commercial Companies working with the Federal Government and others. Angela has led large engagements and has deep knowledge in frameworks, regulations, and/or standards such as: SOX 404, PCI, HITRUST, FedRAMP, CMS EDE, HIPAA, GLBA, ISO 27001/2/17/18, 27701:2019, SOC, Privacy Law and what it takes to get ready, improve cyber security posture and pass these assessments/ audits.
