Jason Ford

As the co-founder and CEO of Steel Patriot Partners, he focuses on driving growth, architecting cybersecurity compliance solutions to simplify an organization's operations, and finding new solutions and services to offer clients. Drawing on his experience as one of the first cloud service provider operators in FedRAMP, he leads government services for Steel Patriot Partners for clients seeking FedRAMP, NIST, CMMC, or other related government frameworks.

Jason is a technology entrepreneur who focuses on IT operations, cybersecurity, business operations growth, compliance, and the technology impacts of cloud solutions. He is passionate about delivering IT solutions that maximize business productivity and operational effectiveness while maintaining information integrity and security.

Before co-founding Steel Patriot Partners, Jason co-founded BlackMesh in 2004, which focused on delivering application services with security compliance in public and private clouds. He successfully exited BlackMesh in 2017. During his time there, Jason navigated GSA's FedRAMP program in 2014, PCI DSS, SOC2, and HIPAA, to assist security-focused clients with their digital transformation to managed cloud services. Post-acquisition, Jason stayed as CISO and CTO to continue to drive security initiatives along with technology direction for the newly formed post-acquisition company until 2019, establishing FedRAMP governance for all past and future acquisitions.
